Programs

Unlimited Classes
These wods (workout of the day) are done in a group environment and are performed at the highest intensity the individual can sustain with good form and proper technique. The wods can be scaled and modified to meet each athletes ability. Each class is run by an experienced CrossFit coach to help athletes achieve their goals.
Elements
All new members must enroll in the Elements program before moving to group training.  Elements Classes focus on mechanics, technique and proper CrossFit movements.  Classes will be geared for the new CrossFitter, and will help bridge the gap to the Unlimited CrossFit Classes.
During these sessions your coaches will ramp up the intensity based on your ability, and assess your movements to create a personalized program to improve your flexibility, performance, and safety.
You may move out of the Elements program early, however the 6 core workouts need to be completed with proper form and technique efficiently .
If you have done CrossFit classes previously, you can get an assessment and move directly to the Unlimited Classes.

Future Athletes Program
The Carson City Future Athlete Program is for those pre-teens and teens (ages 11-17) who want to learn how to move correctly and safely under load (weights), improve their core strength and stamina, gain and/or maintain conditioning in the off-season all through CrossFit programming.  We focus on form and movement standards before anything else. The Future Athlete Program can be supplement or in addition to a teen's involvement in sports by incorporating gymnastics, strength training and conditioning to make our CrossFit athletes better athletes at any sport.
Our goal at CCCF aims to promote fitness at age appropriate levels while making fitness FUN in a team building environment. We want the athlete to think about their movement, count their repetitions, remember the sequences, and work towards goals. The Future Athlete Program will instill; focus, perseverance, dedication, motivation, and goal-setting all which will carry over to their everyday lives providing strong building blocks as they grow into young adults.
Is CrossFit Safe for Kids and Teens?
Yes. There is a wealth of scientific literature that supports the claim that strength and conditioning is not only safe but beneficial for growing children. There exists a strong correlation between physical activity and increased cognitive functions. Isaac Newton's First Law of Motion states that "a body in motion will stay in motion, and a body at rest will stay rest unless acted on by an external force." The Future Athlete Program is the external force that safely teaches and promotes ALOT of motion. By teaching the proper way to move, these movements safely build strength. If you’re not moving safely or right who cares if you’re moving fast?  So learn how to  improve speed, agility, endurance, strength and power!
